What these terms cover
These terms apply to the audibletour.com website, which is run by Rhumb Line Apps LLC ("we" or "us"). By using the site you agree to them. The AudibleTour visitor app and the back office for tour operators are not yet released. When they are, each will have its own terms, and those will govern their use.
Pre-launch status
AudibleTour is in development. This site describes what we are building. Features, timing, pricing, and the screens shown as concept renders may change or may not ship. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, a promise of availability, or a contract to provide a service.
Using the site
You may read the site and use its forms for their intended purpose. You may not use the site in a way that breaks the law or harms it: no automated copying of the site beyond what search engines do, no attempts to interfere with the site or with our form service, and no false information in the forms.
The forms
When you request a pilot discussion or join the launch list, you confirm that the details are yours and that we may contact you about AudibleTour at the address you gave. You can withdraw that at any time by writing to us. Sending a form does not create a contract for a pilot, for AudibleTour, or for any other service, and it does not book a meeting; we reply by email to arrange one.
Our content
The text, design, and pictures on this site belong to Rhumb Line Apps LLC or are used with permission. The photographs are computer-generated illustrations of the kinds of places AudibleTour is made for; the people in them are not real and are not customers. AudibleTour, ICW Planner, and Rhumb Line Apps are names of Rhumb Line Apps LLC. You may not copy, republish, or commercially use the site's content without our written permission, except for brief quotations with a link to the source.
Links to other sites
The site links to rhumblineapps.com and to services we use, such as our hosting and form providers. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.
No warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. When AudibleTour launches, its narration will be for interest and orientation only; it is not a safety, emergency, or navigation aid.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rhumb Line Apps LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, business, or profits, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless Rhumb Line Apps LLC and its members from claims arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
Privacy
How we handle information you give us through the site is described in our privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Rhumb Line Apps LLC is organized and by the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the site will be brought in the courts of that State.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the current version. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
